Commissioning a watercolour painting from Art4Arts8 is easy but it does require good communication with the artist
to ensure satisfaction with the end product. To start the ball rolling read the short
notes below before contacting the artist.
Your choice.
The things to consider are content and size. For example, if you were to commission a watercolour painting of a beach, consider what you would like on the beach (people, animals, seagulls...)? and what sort of sky would you like (sunrise, sunset, clear, stormy...)? Size of the painting is important, and also affects the price tag, anything up to 16 x 12 inches may be appropriate.
A Picture Paints a Thousand Words.
If you have a photograph or picture of the scene that you like commissioned, it would be most useful to the artist. If you are looking for a commission of your house, for example, a number of photographs will be important. Please note that due to 'artistic licence' the final painting may not include all the detail on your photograph.
Please note that every attempt has been made to match the correct colours but depending on your screen settings the colours may vary slightly from the original. Thank you for browsing the watercolour and acrylic paintings.
